Fox Sports Grill
June 28, 2007
In 2001, FOX Sports partnered with B & B Restaurant Ventures to build a new type of dining, sports and entertainment viewing experience. Scottsdale was their first location and now there are Fox Sports Grills in Irvine, California; Seattle, Washington; Nyack, New York, Houston & Dallas, Texas, Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, NC. This sports bar is huge inside, a place where you can enjoy a cold one and have room to spread out. Even on special occasions they do a great job of accommodating the crowds during some of the major Scottsdale events like the FBR Open and Russo & Steel car auction. Sunday nights you can be part of a live audience when FSN Arizona produces Qwest Sound Off Live at 9:30p.m. FSN Arizona and The East Valley Tribune team up with some local radio personalities to discuss the hottest topics in the Arizona sports scene. It's fun to sit there and be part of a live radio broadcast.
There are many things to like about Fox Sports Grill (besides the Coconut Shrimp Appetizers & wings) but especially it's central location in N. Scottsdale (16203 N. Scottsdale Rd) Right in the middle of all the action in N. Scottsdale and a terrific place to people watch. It's a young crowd for the most part but golfers of all ages like to hang out here too since it's just around the corner from the TPC Scottsdale and the links at Kierland. The drinks are generous and the food is plentiful and delicious, offering contemporary American cuisine. Located between the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and the Scottsdale Princess Resort you can get there easily by hotel shuttle and be home in five minutes if you are staying in one of about ten other hotels nearby. This is a state-of-the-art Sports Grill (if you can keep your eyes on the big screen TV's) offering food to go and a great venue for private events and parties. Phone: 480-368-0369.
