Totally unbiased opinion about where to stay and play in scottsdale

As a golf vacation planner answering the phones at a very successful Scottsdale golf resort in the mid 90's I would frequently get calls where early in the call I would determine that our particular type of accommodation (condo suites) were just not suited to their requirements. If a caller asked about another hotel or resort by name I would describe what I knew about them, stopping just short of recommending anyone. People appreciate referrals but in this business it also puts a lot of pressure on you because you can't control anyone else's package. What if the client has a bad experience? If this happened at a restaurant your uncle charlie recommended where the food, service, atmosphere, etc. didn't meet your expectations, would you go back? It might be a bit unfair not to try them again, as anyone can have a bad day - but I probably wouldn't.

Scottsdale golf package clients want choices. There is no single type of accommodation suitable for everyone in Scottsdale.
