Ok, enough already from the Westin Kierland Public Relations Department – although I wouldn't quite put it that way myself I would have to agree with the tone of their description – this resort is awesome and embodies everything you could ask for in a Scottsdale resort! I like the central location in N. Scottsdale, I love Kierland's 27 holes of golf, managed by Troon Golf, meaning you can be assured of consistently good conditioning and superb putting surfaces. My wife raves about the shopping and dining at the adjacent Kierland Commons, a place where you can do some serious damage to your bank account and an upscale shopping experience if there ever was one.

The best deals to be had here are offered in the summer but hold on to your plastic in the winter months (January through April) because that's when everyone wants to be in sunny, warm, Scottsdale.
